Ajisakka Kanemitsu Exhibition — "A i n o r i" opens on June 13 (Sat), 2026, at iTohen — a gallery, bookshop, and café in Honjo-nishi. In May 2026, artwork by Kanemitsu Ajisaka — iTohen's owner, graphic designer, and artist — was chosen for the album cover of "forgotten", the latest release by the band Fuyu ni Wakarete (冬にわかれて). This exhibition presents the original cover artwork alongside new pieces created for the occasion by nine guest artists. Fuyu ni Wakarete is a three-piece band: Saho Terao (vocals, piano), whose releases including Yohaku no Melody and Shū Shine have each been hailed as masterworks, and who continues to share traditional folk songs from across Japan; Wataru Iga (bass / lake), who has supported artists including Haruomi Hosono, Kayoko Yoshizawa, and Kaori Mochida; and Reisaburo Adachi (drums, saxophone / Reisaburo Adachi to Oishii Mizu), a multi-instrumentalist and member of Kataomoi and Hei Tanaka, who also produces, records, and supports artists such as Noroshi Records and Kiyomaru Togo. The band debuted in 2017 with the 7-inch single Mimi wo Sumashite. Their 2018 first album Nannimo Iranai featured Kimi no Machi (written by Iga), which charted on J-WAVE's TOKIO HOT 100 for three consecutive months. They went on to release Tandem (2021) and flow (2023), expanding their listenership worldwide. In 2026, they released forgotten — their first new album in three years. From the artist: "Fuyu ni Wakarete chose my artwork for the forgotten album cover. On February 2, 2020, I suddenly began drawing — for myself. Since then, I've posted new work on Instagram almost every day. Saho Terao discovered these drawings through a certain encounter. It felt as though, while I was wandering lost and desperate, someone pulled alongside and offered me a ride — ainori, a shared journey. This exhibition centers on that original artwork. I look forward to welcoming you. And for this show, trusted companions are also joining the ride. Each guest artist has created a new work inspired by Kimi no Tabi (Your Journey), a song from the album."
